Other ways to drive
No numbers here: every one of these depends on the carrier and the truck, so we go through the details on the call.

A bigger number isn’t the whole offer.
- 01
Pay
What reaches your paycheck?
Ask how pay is calculated, which miles count and what deductions apply.
- 02
Home time
What does the schedule mean?
Get the actual time out and time home. Make sure it works with your life.
- 03
Equipment
What will you be driving?
Ask about equipment, maintenance and the support available when plans change.
What we
don’t do.
- WE DON’T
Sell you a lease as a shortcut
A lease-purchase is not a shortcut to owning a truck, and we won’t present it as one.
- WE DO
Go through the lease with you
The weekly payment, the deductions, and what you’re left with if you walk away.
- WE DON’T
Quote best-case miles
A best-case mileage number is not a typical week, and we won’t hand it to you as one.
- WE DO
Ask for the real average
We ask the carrier for a recent account average and a slower-week example. If that data isn’t available, we tell you that.
- WE DO
Go through the deduction list
Line by line, with you, before you sign anything.
Built around
the honest part.
“You get the real numbers before you commit, including the ones that don’t help us, and then you decide for yourself.”
Nate Mikic / Founder
Four years in CDL-A recruiting taught our founder where the details get lost. TTIrecruiting is built around that gap.

Do I really pay nothing?
Drivers do not pay TTIrecruiting to apply, speak with a recruiter or get placed. Carriers pay our placement fee; it is not taken from your paycheck. A carrier’s own pay structure and any job-related deductions are separate, and we discuss those with you before you decide. We don’t sell your information to marketers or lead brokers. Your details go to a carrier only when it’s for a match we’re actively working on for you.
How fast can I start?
Ready drivers can start in as little as 3-5 days, but a start date is not guaranteed. A recruiter usually calls back within 15-20 minutes during staffed hours. After that, timing depends on your documents, physical, drug test and the carrier’s onboarding requirements. Tell us what is ready and what you still need help with.
What if I have violations or a SAP?
Tell us about it up front. Some partner carriers consider drivers with violations or a completed SAP program, depending on the record and their requirements. A completed program does not guarantee a job. We discuss your situation and available options before you spend time on a carrier’s application.
What kind of trucks and miles?
Our 20+ partner carriers cover equipment including dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck and tanker. Actual openings, mileage and equipment depend on the carrier, location and your qualifications. Tell us your preferences so we can discuss the options that fit.
